- I am grateful for floating holidays (Veterans’ Day being one) because working on those days mean a nice quiet day at work AND a day off when I actually want it!
- I am grateful for everyone who has fought for the freedoms I enjoy every day and all those in the armed services, even if they didn’t fight…like my dad who was an officer in the army’s finance corp.
- I am grateful for subways that don’t have any school kids in them because they have the day off. A much better commute for all!
