People who know me know that I don’t really watch/follow professional sports. I just can’t be bothered. I will always love the 49ers and Oakland A’s (my hometown teams), but I just did not grow up in a sports watching family. We’d much rather be out doing than at home watching. That said, I do enjoy watching the Super Bowl as a social event.
Today, it was just a small gathering (mainly family), but we used it as an excuse to make lots of fattening food (I made these bacon and blue cheese stuffed chicken breasts which were delicious) and just enjoy hanging out together. We watched the entire game (with commercials) and had a blast. Maybe it’s really just that I love any excuse for a party, but I’m going to be specific with this one.
